DAY FOUR Breakfast in the HOTEL -

We had a lie-in before getting up to a welcome breakfast, then returned to our rooms to pack. We stored the cases and took a taxi to the Westin Grand where we had stayed two or three years ago. We walked from the hotel down to Pariser Platz to see the Brandenburg Gate, the Adlon and the new American Embassy. We bought the usual souvenirs then caught another taxi back to our hotel. We reclaimed the cases, settled the room bill and took another taxi to Tegel Airport. We arrived there nice and early and checked in our cases. The flight home was good and we had another taxi waiting to bring us home. We have thoroughly enjoyed yet another visit to Berlin and can recommend it to anyone.
